well, at my last update in this website i said that i'm gonna make a blog-like post about mother 3 and how to get it. well, turned out i'm way lazier than i thought. i will try to focus at making concepts for this website as it's a bit harder than i thought to make it look fancy and interactable and stuff. i think my plans are a bit too big for just a website but i will try.

talking about mother 3, my beloved rpg. mother 3 is the third and final game in the mother series and is a sequel to "earthbound/mother2". though there are references and sometimes more important stuff to past titles in mother 3, you won't miss a lot if you start at mother 3 but it's recommended to start from mother 1 or if not, at least "mother2/earthbound". the story is probably the best aspect of mother 3 so be careful to not get spoiled a lot about it on internet. you probably know but mother 3 was never released outside of japan and never got an english localization. well, the amazing fans of this game made an amazing fan translation so the game can be enjoyed worldwide. a lot of people believe if there ever was going to be an official localization, the fan translation will still be superior.

let's talk about how you can play the game because i don't want to bore you with my terrible writing and not so useful facts. first, you need to download the latest patch of the fan translation at the fan translation website and apply the patch to your !TOTALLY LEGALLY OWNED COPY OF THE GAME! through a rom patcher or any program to apply patches to retro games and such. after that, you'll need an emulator to play it and i suggest mgba for that. that's it! i hope you enjoy it as much as i did. i really hope.
